Dyno Car Tuning
We offer customised performance dyno tuning performed on our in-house 4WD dyno and our state-of-the-art tuning technology. One of the most important tools when tuning a vehicle is the dyno. The dyno is simulating the road so that we are able to adjust the ECU settings to optimise the performance. The dyno makes it possible for us to give you a much more powerful and safe tune. Here is our process:
We start out by running your unturned vehicle on the dyno to create a baseline
We then gain access to the ECU and adjust the settings to customise them to the unique New Zealand driving environment and your needs.
Once the tune is flashed back into the ECU we then run the vehicle on the dyno again so that you can see the gains that your dyno-tuned vehicle has gotten.
Performance Dyno tune VS Plug’n’Play
There are a lot of benefits to getting a dyno tune instead of a Plug’n’Play solution. One of the most significant is the difference in gains. An ECU dyno tune are able to optimise the engine’s performance from within while doing real-life measurements that allow for customisation in a way Plug’n’Play does not allow.

The ECU factory settings limit your car’s power output. With car tuning, we safely adjust the ECU settings to increase your car’s horsepower.

We can within the ECU also modify the accelerator pedal maps, which will improve the throttle response. Improved throttle response will make for more effortless driving and better driving control as the acceleration becomes more efficient.

Economy Tune
Our ECONOMY TUNE works by improving the efficiency and power of the engine to make the engine work less hard, in any given situation. Reduced throttle load and the ability to be in higher gears sooner and for longer results in marked fuel efficiency gains.
Customers will see FUEL IMPROVEMENTS of typically 8-10% on most diesel vehicles, often more when opting for our Advanced Tuning & Performance Economy remap. Great for fleets too where the savings really count.
Power Tune
Our POWER TUNE is designed to enhance power output while ensuring the vehicle maintains the manufacturer’s standards of reliability and original service levels.
The Power and Torque gains range from 5% to 35%, depending on factors such as whether the vehicle is naturally aspirated, supercharged, or turbocharged, the original tuning level from the manufacturer, the capacity for additional performance in the turbochargers and fuel injectors, and the durability of the engine and driveline components as they were originally built.
Towing Tune
Our TOWING TUNE is specifically designed for tradespeople who regularly haul heavy loads with their Utes and for cars used to tow trailers, boats, caravans, or horse floats. Our custom ECU towing tunes are crafted to keep exhaust gas temperatures (EGT) safe, especially in hilly terrain, ensuring optimal engine performance under heavy loads.
Towing tunes are engineered to maximize low-end torque. With increased torque at lower RPMs, you’ll experience improved acceleration and enhanced pulling capability, making towing tasks more manageable and efficient.
